Duke Energy: Gas Main Construction Work In Glendale - 2007

We have been notified by Duke Energy (formerly CG&E) that their contractors will be replacing aged gas mains on many streets in Hamilton County this year. We have obtained a copy of the Glendale streets that will receive work (see below). They report that they will start work in late July and end in late December. We are told that traffic will be maintained wherever possible and that they will have off-duty police assisting with traffic whenever needed. Our Public Works supervisor Ron Hafner has been assigned the task to monitor all of their work (excavation and restoration). We have also asked them to make timely and courteous notice to residents prior to starting work on their Glendale roadways.
